Starting June at Planeta Manas, we bring you Russell E. L. Butler - artist and DJ extraordinaire from Bermuda currently residing in NYC. Focused on exploring themes around process, technological innovation, the archive, and decolonization, and with works that have taken the form of vinyl records, digital audio releases, live A/V performances, and special archiving projects, Russel has been featured in publications like New Yorker, Resident Advisor, the East Bay Express, New York Dance Music zine Love Injection, and Bermuda’s national paper, The Royal Gazette. Joining them we will have some of the hottest local talents, all things batida master DJ Doraemon will be gracing our decks, together with Brazilian funk goddess Chungadaddy and our resident Photonz. ⬤ Event for members only - you can become a member at the door.
