Description
Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event, held every Thursday, in Amsterdam.
Every week local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and personal interpretation of Techno.
For this Thursday, 25th of May 2023, we invited the BNKR Amsterdam head honcho, OHCE, to headline our event.
OHCE [NL] started playing vinyl at the age of 17 and slowly shaped his sound until he decided to move to Amsterdam in his 20th orbit around the sun. His love for techno started growing and he soon got his first residency at a club in Amsterdam doing 9hr vinyl sets.
Later, in 2008 he became interested in sound design & production, graduated from SAE Institute and started shaping his signature sound – raw, minimalistic underground techno with a bunker soul, ranging from a 105 to 145 BPM.
His style and mixing techniques can be best described as smooth along long transitions resulting in combinations of sonic elements which are unexpected and can taunt the imagination and perception of the original music selection.
OHCE will be supported by our resident Marco Ramos.
