Dimensions of Being returns for its next open-air transmission—this time in collaboration with Atlanta mainstays Groove & Flavor—occupying the historic Fountains at Underground with a full-day exploration of rhythm, resonance, and human presence.
At the core of this gathering is Argenis Brito, a pioneering figure whose roots trace from the streets of Caracas to the after-hours of Berlin. With a background in classical piano and a teenage career fronting rock bands, Brito’s evolution into one of electronic music’s most distinctive live performers is marked by a singular approach to rhythm and improvisation. He emerged in the early 2000s as part of the Latin American minimal wave that flowed through Berlin, releasing on labels like Cadenza, Mobilee, Contexterrior, and Crosstown Rebels.
Brito’s live sets—always hybrid, often spontaneous—blend modular electronics, dub textures, live vocals, and deep percussive intuition. His projects span a wide range: from the satirical electro-latin experiments of Señor Coconut to the dubwise futurism of Mambotur and his collaborations with Dandy Jack and Ricardo Villalobos. To witness him perform live is to experience the liminal space between machine and soul, structure and spontaneity.
For this Atlanta appearance, he joins a lineup of regional and international selectors: Silent Duality, Andlé, Jinnjah b2b Roberto Contessi, and a live set from Meta. Together, the sonic arc of the day will move across meditative minimal, groove-forward house, and live improvisation—designed not just for dancing, but for deepening one’s perceptual field.
The setting—the open-air fountains nestled beneath the layers of Underground Atlanta—is more than backdrop. It’s a sonic observatory, a liminal space where water, vibration, and architecture reflect the deeper intention behind Dimensions of Being: to discover the self
This isn’t just a party. It’s a field experiment in rhythm, atmosphere, and collective resonance.
