ATÉ CHÁ — THE CLOSING RITUAL
Those Who Dance · 17 October · 17:00—23:00
This October, Lisbon welcomes the first edition of "ATÉ CHÁ Tea week", a gathering unfolding across different venues throughout the weekend, bringing together international artists, tea practitioners and facilitators to explore how tea inspires contemporary culture, creativity and new forms of connection.
For thousands of years, tea has travelled across continents, cultures and civilizations, inspiring countless ways of gathering, exchanging ideas and sharing time. From ancient rituals to contemporary artistic practices, the same plant continues to create spaces for human connection.
We're happy to close this first edition at Those Who Dance, celebrating tea not only as a tradition, but as a living cultural force that continues to inspire music, art and collective experiences.
Throughout six hours, different tea practitioners will introduce us to the many essences, aromas and expressions of tea, accompanied by a carefully curated journey of downtempo, ambient and live music, designed to resonate with the character of the teas being served.
Between sound, visual art, installation and contemporary interpretations of tea rituals, we invite you to slow down, sharpen your senses and explore new ways of listening, tasting, moving and being together.
