Bloom Presents: Ricardo Roessel (Body Response, ATM) (Chicago) Friday, September 27th | 8 PM - 3Am | Georgia Beer Garden Join us at the Georgia Beer Garden as we welcome a very special guest to the Bloom series—Chicago’s own Ricardo Roessel, making his Atlanta debut. As per usual we try to bring the people who are on the forefront of underground dance music domestically and internationally to our events. Ricardo is someone we hear about it from artists all around and is on the cutting edge of Chicago's underground dance music scene. A visionary DJ and event curator, Ricardo’s sets have graced the world’s most renowned clubs and venues, from BRET Amsterdam and Detroit’s TV Lounge to Smartbar and YuYu in Mexico City. His finely curated record collection spans the depths of legendary record stores like Gramaphone in Chicago, Human Head in NYC, Berlin’s Spacehall, and Paris’ Syncrophone. Roessel's extended vinyl sets are a masterclass in genre-blurring, mixing rare 90s US & UK house, breaks, minimal, electro, experimental, and trance with cutting-edge new sounds. His mixes flow seamlessly, blending timeless, forgotten gems with modern underground beats, all delivered with technical precision and a loose, symbiotic energy on the dancefloor. Having co-founded and co-produced Chicago’s elusive underground party series Body Response since 2017, Ricardo has become a key player in the local dance community. He's collaborated with South Side sound systems like Durty Truth and The Post, sharing stages with both pioneers like Chez Damier and Boo Williams, as well as modern tastemakers like Nicolas Lutz and Malika. Get tickets early if possible as prices will go up at the door. We will have our very own modified and tuned Altec A7 VOTT system to accompany us through the night. Joining us will be Bloom residents Benjamin, TJ Coito, and Titino to get things moving.
