On Saturday, July 6th CHOICES x SQUIRT! returns with more flirts, squirts, hot dogs and poolside fun! Get ready for a midsummer queer dance party where you can choose to be YOU, and get a little wet too. To ring in CHOICES’ 2 Year Anniversary, we are once again teaming up with Denver Eagle in collaboration with SQUIRT! Party creator, Andrew Dimpfl, to bring you another water pistol and hot dog party. This is an all evening affair you will not want to miss Denver we are going from 6 PM to 2 AM! *About StrikeStone!* German-American, Christopher Lenel, began producing edits/sample-based breaks, grime, and garage in 2009 and began DJing at DMV raves, renegades, outlaws, and warehouse parties. Eventually, they landed their first major club gig at the legendary Bmore after-hours club, the Paradox! Through parties in D.C. such as Otter Crossing at Green Lantern and Phunked UP! at Jimmy Valentines, StrikeStone! has helped set an eclectic tone for the new burgeoning LGBT underground dancefloor. StriikeStone! has released music on Nerang Records, Good Buddies, and Gays Hate Techno, as well as self-released work that has received support from Yaeji, Ariel Zetina, DJ Voices, The Carry Nation, Bears in Space, and Perfect Lovers! No stranger to the dancefloor and its therapeutic advantages, and having played all across the country, StrikeStone!'s passion for a journey can be heard in all of their mixes for crews such as 3000 Bass, Por Detroit, Honcho, Rumors, and Double Scorpio's mix series! Prepare to sweat! *About DVONNE* Born and raised in the DMV, DVONNE grew up on the sounds of the region - Go-Go, gospel, funk, hip hop and house. DVONNE's first taste of the club scene started at the turn of the millennium at the legendary D.C. nightclub Nation, which undoubtedly flourished when living in Prague for three years and galavanting around the European club scene. Since moving to D.C. in 2009, DVONNE's carved out a queer corner in D.C. nightlife as a DJ and curator of QT BIPOC2S artistry, establishing multiple parties such as the techno-collective Noxeema Jackson and the decade-long running CTRL. A well-seasoned DJ, DVONNE's spun at renown venues across D.C. (Project Glow, Echostage, The Kennedy Center, Hirshhorn Museum, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, and Trade to name a few) and all over from Honcho at Hot Mass, to Bossa Nova in Brooklyn, to Toronto to Paris. *About Honeycat* Honeycat is the duo of Stefan Ways and Joseph Mattachine, resident DJs at the Denver Eagle and proud dads of Denver’s queer party, CHOICES. Like the party’s name, Honeycat delivers diverse sounds from the genres of house, disco, wave, and techno. Expect the unexpected, and come ready for an energetic, psychedelic, fun, and sexy set. *About Andrew Dimpfl* ​​Andrew Dimpfl is a Denver based graphic designer and installation artist, and the creator of Squirt! He is known for his work with Honcho Campout (PA), CHOICES (DEN), Junk Drawer (DEN), Naughty Snowball (DC), Market Crash (DC), Flaunt Magazine (LA), and No Such Agency (LA). His work typically consists of large format mixed media installations for nightlife events featuring illustration, sculpture, light play, and abstract form.
