Throughout history, many art forms have seen a rise in complexity with its evolution, as well as minimalistic counter movements opposing it. From the Dubstep eruption to the popularity of the early 2010s, was later born Riddim - a stripped down to its core flood of underground electronic beats prioritizing hypnotic but intriguing flows, experimental sound design, and complex DJing techniques such as multi-dropping and chopping over the abrasive loudness and trivial execution that was heard on the mainstream side. Portugal buried Dubstep with its descent in worldwide reputation around 2015, and many people dropped their beliefs for the movement. So, it’s with great nerve and pleasure that we announce Chop Deez! A party born to celebrate the unpredictable frenzy and engaging peculiarity of Riddim Dubstep, promising to deliver you a function full of stepping beats, left-field basslines, fake drops, double drops, and last but certainly not least, wicked chops.
