On Tuesday 15th November, on #CicloBLK third session, join us for a very special and occasional film session at Hangar featuring Falcão Nhaga’s debut short film “Mistida” with Bia Gomes and Welket Bungué, alongside “Alcindo” by Miguel Dores, the documentary that shows what happened on the 10th June 1995 when Portuguese neonazis brutally attacked several Black citizens in central Lisbon, resulting on the death of Alcindo Monteiro. 📍 Hangar, Lisbon ⏱ Nov 15th @ 6-8pm 🎟 Free entry [RSVP needed] "What's Ciclo BLK?" #CicloBLK by The Blacker The Berry Project is the collective's new fortnightly and cultural residency at @largoresidencias from Black History Month to Black History Month featuring workshops, film screenings and talks curated by and to our community members throughout the next four months. From 22nd October until 18th February 2023, we will bring a diverse panel of artists from various creative practices to participate in open talks with the public, creating a stronger bond between emerging creatives or curious individuals and well-established artists and community-based workers.
