Community Gathering + Production Workshop

COMMUNITY, EDUCATION & INSPIRATION - Since day one, one of our core missions at Fader Events has been to foster community beyond just the dance floor. This gathering is designed to bring together the techno community of the greater Tampa Bay area for an afternoon of education, conversation, and connection. The night will feature an Ableton music production workshop and Q&A with Austrian producer/DJ Arthur Robert, who will offer insight into his creative process and approach to writing and arranging music. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly during the session. In addition, Allan Gallego, co-founder of Florida-based techno label Future_Arkive, will lead a discussion on starting and running an independent record label, covering topics such as artist development, releases, branding, and navigating the modern music landscape. Lastly, we'll have time for a Q&A with Fader Residents, where we'll create a space for honest dialogue around DJing, production, events, and building a sustainable presence within the scene. Beyond the workshops, this event is intentionally designed as a networking and community gathering, welcoming DJs, producers, promoters, dancers, and supporters of house and techno. Whether you’re just starting out or already active in the scene, this is a space to meet like-minded people, exchange ideas, and strengthen the local community. Spots are limited. Registration is required. Donations are accepted <3 Although this is a free event, it comes with costs to produce and we appreciate any donations that help us continue to cover the cost of providing educational gatherings for our special community.
