His sets are built from years spent digging through Brazil, Eastern Europe, and North America, with records personally discovered along the way. From Brazilian electro and obscure percussion to Chicago house and global oddities, his selections move freely between genres while staying full of feeling. Making the trip from DFW, Metallix!! brings a sweat-soaked blend of x-rated Miami bass, funky electro, techno heaters, and raw party energy. Austin favorite Jay Berd steps away from behind the soundboard and onto the decks with a finely tuned set built for movement from start to finish.
