Da Capo W/ Novaa - Live @ Cici Studios Berlin

DA CAPO is an intimate performance and conversation series that brings audiences closer to the lives behind the music. Each evening pairs a carefully curated live set with an honest, open dialogue about creativity, ambition, artistic identity, and the realities of building a life in the arts. Through shared conversation and audience participation, DA CAPO turns a concert into a space for connection and curiosity. DA CAPO is a moment to slow down, listen deeply, and appreciate the people, stories, and processes that shape a masterpiece. On October 31st, 2026, we invite you to a very special Halloween edition of DA CAPO at CiCi Studios, welcoming Berlin-based producer and artist NOVAA for an intimate live performance and conversation. NOVAA has spent years shaping the sound of other artists, working as a producer with and for artists including Toxique, Alli Neumann, panicbaby, Lie Ning, Mogli, Ami Warning, Fløre, Mulay, and many more. Three years ago, NOVAA put their own artist persona to rest, stepping away from the spotlight to fully dedicate themselves to producing for others. But some artistic identities never really disappear. Now, NOVAA is returning with MDNGHT ZONE — a new project that reflects on their former artist persona through sound and lyrics. Emerging from a period of distance and transformation, the project explores what remains when you revisit a version of yourself you thought you had left behind. The recent EP was created in collaboration with Lie Ning, Kaala, and av.freya, bringing together different voices and perspectives while continuing NOVAA’s exploration of identity, memory, and artistic expression. And what better night to enter the MDNGHT ZONE than Halloween? For this special edition of DA CAPO, we’ll gather after dark for an intimate live performance and an open conversation about stepping away from your own artistic identity — and finding your way back to it. We’ll talk about the creative freedom and challenges of working behind the scenes, the decision to let an artist persona rest, and what it means to return to your own voice years later with a different perspective. A night about old selves, new beginnings, music after midnight, and the things that refuse to stay buried. Join us at CiCi Studios for a special Halloween edition of DA CAPO — an evening of live music, deep listening, honest conversation, and a little darkness.
