Description
Danny Daze returns to Public Records for another night of Miami bass, Dutch electro, and Detroit techno. As a DJ and producer, his freeform approach to music is both intentional and unabashedly imperfect, blending the unexpected eclecticism of his upbringing with hits pulled from nearly a decade in Florida's underground rave scene. He goes back to back with Faith Beat founder Ryan Elliott, who sits in a sweet spot between the house and techno divide, combining the gritty drive of Detroit techno with the soulful groove of house. Two cornerstones of the Brooklyn bass scene bring their low-slung selections to The Atrium. Mui Mui opens after a recent run at underground staples Life Of, tossd, and Paragon. She has an instinct for pushing sonic boundaries, effortlessly bridging sensual bass mutations with punchy club hits. Recently recognized by DJ Mag for her definitive mixes and DJ sets, The Bunker NY’s Sister Zo continues to share from from her dark, mischievous bass and techno continuum at top-lauded venues and parties such as Studio, Tresor, Fast At Work, Wrecked, and The Carry Nation. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
