We’re gearing up for an exciting Desires x Reference x Bloom weekender as Desires hits the road next month with Pily!
Out of the rare Sonoran Desert, Pily has been carving out a unique sound for close to 10 years. Her music is a passionate composition of House, Italo-DIsco, Minimal, Breaks, and Electro. Pily’s hypnotical sound has allowed her crowd to take on a discovery journey through her music selection. She first encountered music at young age, when she used to skip class and go to band class until the professor caught her. She got in trouble, the director of the school called her parents, but then eventually she was able to join band class as snare girl. Once introduced to the turntables, it was nothing but pure love to the art. She started developing her skills in music, diggin’ records and production that has now been entrancing her musical style. Pily is known for the TCR002 record of edits of Locomia and has released music on Small Hours, Pachinko Records, and Partisans Sub Label: Pillz; which is her first EP release. Her music has been getting global support from tINI, Velazco Sugar Free, Dyed Soundorom, Lamache (to name a few). Anyways you get the deal, Pily is Pily.
On Friday February 16th, join us as we travel to New York to join Reference in celebrating their 1 year of creating memories as we bring in internationally respected DJ and producer Pily to headline. With one of our favorite libraries and personalities, she is full of surprises and is certainly not one to be missed. Rounding out the lineup will be our very own Akarsh alongside Reference residents z:more, Jamie Jar, and a special O-type birthday set.
The weekend continues Saturday February 17th at Theodore Musa Studios as we come back to home base for a third edition of Synergy with Bloom where Pily will be making her Atlanta debut. Local favorites Akarsh and Titino, and our very special guests from New York, Reference residents and power couple, OZ will round out the musical direction for the day into night affair.
