This April, Dripping kicks off its 2026 run at Nowadays with a lineup that captures the essence of the project: Juliana Huxtable and Shyboi headline the club portion of the night, and Joy Guidry leads the concert. They are joined by Buzzi (live), 7038634357 and Nema Hän. Juliana Huxtable and Shyboi need no introduction. Two of the most groundbreaking artists to have emerged in NY over the last decade and change, they each stand as exemplars for an expansive, truly multidisciplinary approach. Between the two of them, their CVs include live performance, writing, poetry, electronic productions, high-level academic research, movement works, bands, visual art and much, much more. And at the center of it all stands their incendiary work as DJs. Both Huxtable and Shyboi are top grade dancefloor destroyers whose visionary worldbuilding has galvanized countless artists in their wake. Joy Guidry is a Dripping alumni. The bassonist-composer-bandleader first appeared at Dripping 2024 with a stunning solo set under the stars, before returning in 2025 with a trio at Dripping 2025. That performance was one of the highlights of the weekend - a viscerally cathartic, spiritual experience that moved from poignant beauty to thundering, unrestrained impact. Guidry is a force of nature and a world-class artist. We are proud to host her one again. She's joined by 7038634357, who opens the concert. Another standout from Dripping 2025, their elusive, emotionally-penetrating soundscapes border on ambient. But 7038634357's work is too powerful, too intentional and frankly too captivating to fade into the background. Buzzi joins the club night with a live set. The Hammerhead artist has been on a major tear recently, channeling an unrelenting physicality and bracing machine funk with full impunity. Nema Hän makes her solo debut at Dripping. The queen of rolling, deep and twisted party anthems, Hän's relentless digging and ear for the deliciously-strange come together immaculately. /// Entry is at the discretion of our door staff. Online purchases are limited to four tickets maximum per person. If tickets are sold out here, we always hold a good amount at the door. We will do our best to admit those without tickets but entrance is not guaranteed. Violence, non-consensual touching, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ageist or other discriminatory language, and leering are not allowed within our walls or in our back yard. If someone says or does something to make you feel uncomfortable while you’re here, let us know. /// Accessibility: The wheelchair entrance to our indoor space is in the driveway, which is the access point most commonly used to enter Nowadays. During parties the driveway gate is locked, so please ask staff at the street entrance for assistance with entry. All of our bathrooms are gender-neutral. There is one accessible stall indoors. Just ask any Nowadays staff member for the key, and they can show you the way. During parties, seating is available both on and off the dance floor. While we don’t have a dedicated quiet space indoors during parties, the booths next to coat check are a little quieter, and the deck and back yard a little quieter than that. Most nighttime parties include the use of strobe lights and water based haze.
