Hatari Quartet At Understory

Hatari Quartet, a group inspired by Henry Mancini's classic exotica score of Howard Hawk's 1961 safari comedy of the same name, is led by Venezuelan American drummer Arturo Garcia. Featuring David Mason on saxophone, Miles Fielder on trombone, and Brian Tate on bass, the group brings their hard-swinging rhythms and bebop aesthetics to Understory's main stage this Thursday, 1/12.
