Indigenous Employee Retention Training

The Indigenous Retention in the workplace is normally a 24-hour course that will help non-Indigenous companies work with and retain Indigenous workers. This condensed version of this course covers several different topics related to some of the challenges that Indigenous workers face on a day-to-day basis. We will cover some of those solutions that non-indigenous companies can do to help retain the workers. This presentation will also include the personal testimony of Mike Young and some of the challenges that he faced trying to mentor people coming to work in a non-Indigenous workplace. After sitting through this course, you will have a better understanding of what you can do to help retain Indigenous workers. This condensed version will also help you decide if you would like to further your learning about the different things you can do to increase your Indigenous content of your company.
