Born in the south of the Netherlands and raised in Belgium, Nicky Elisabeth is a 29-year old artist. Her love for music started with singing when she was sixteen and developed into a passion for DJ’ing by eighteen. Residing in Amsterdam, Nicky had the epicentre of electronic music at her doorstep and was fully immersed into the techno scene. It wasn't long before she began producing records and developed her own unique sound, best described as ‘melodic techno with a twist’. Nicky strives to bring people together through the power of music. Already left her mark on the scene, Nicky has had a residency at Amsterdam’s club De Marktkantine and has played at leading festivals such as Awakenings and Tomorrowland. Above that, she has had releases on Kompakt Records and Anjunadeep.
Warung is the electronic music project of Aaron Hopkins & Dillon Ames.
While riding mopeds through busy Bali intersections, one half of this duo was intrigued by an Indonesian word that appeared on almost every street corner – “Warung.” Meaning “small family-run business,” it quickly became apparent how intrinsic these Warungs were to the culture: self made, the lifeline of the family, and an ever-lasting legacy to carry forth. The concept of Warung couldn’t have been a better inspiration for their sound and project. These two decided to forego their solo projects and together cultivate something rich, from the ground up, with the intention of starting an organic music identity. The development continues, and with each groove constructed they push forward into a new space, learning to blend old with new.
