The night will kick off with a screening of Jamón Jamón, courtesy of Katie B from The Kinoplex, followed by dj sets from duun, Deep Cleansing, and Egyptian Helicopter. There will be free-range jamón Iberico on site. Jamón Jamón (1992): When a mother disapproves of her son's lover, she hires an underwear model and former bullfighter to seduce her away. duun is the electronic music project of Haitian-American multi-disciplinary artist Edwin Beauchamp, born, raised, and based in Miami, Florida. The project is an ever-evolving showcase of his work, rooted in (but not limited to) ambient, downtempo, and dubwise styles, expressed through immersive DJ sets and production work. In Miami, he has performed at VERBS, The Ground, III Points, and at local art institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, and The Bass Museum. Beyond Miami, he has appeared on The Lot Radio in New York City and at a SXSW Showcase in Austin, Texas. In addition to DJing (occasionally under the alias Adobe Deejay) and producing, Beauchamp works as a graphic designer and illustrator, hosts the mix series Cloudy Skies on Miami’s Jolt Radio, co-runs a photography publishing imprint, and pursues his own photographic practice. Unafraid to reference - or not reference - Deep Cleansing moves across dance music with ease, pulling from archival sounds and avant-garde edges alike. As one of Miami Community Radio’s longest-standing residents, he is a trusted voice within the city’s underground music ecosystem. He is the founder of the perpetually sexy "Hydrosol", an event series and radio show. His sets draw from decades of club lineage while remaining sharply present, blending eclectic selection with a signature sultry intensity and muscular refinement. The Egyptian Helicopter experience is something akin to reaching into a couch to retrieve something and encountering more than what you bargained for. 7p-late No cover
