Len Faki, Octave One, Volvox

Len Faki and Octave One return to the Main Hall alongside Volvox on April 25.  Faki's has become one of Knockdown Center's signature artists. A maestro of thundering, industrial-grade techno, Faki has been one of the defining voices of the genre in the 21st century. Active since the mid-90s, his accolades are beyond reproach: a resident of Berghain since its opening, label boss for the essential Figure imprint, a prolific catalog of original productions... this just scratches the surface. More than three decades into his career, Faki remains a force of nature.  Detroit pioneers Octave One are back in the room with what may be the best live set in techno. Landmark producers, their sprawling discography is essential listening for fans of true techno and house, with 2000's "Blackwater" considered by many to be the greatest house track ever produced. Their euphoric live sets see the two Burden brothers extend their singular vision with a studio's worth of hardware. It's a journey you do not want to miss.  NY's Volvox opens the night. She is one of the standout artists of the current generation. A fixture of the city's scene for over a decade, Volvox's impeccable craft and unflinching vision have made her a mainstay at BASEMENT, WIRE and many of the city's best clubs.
