Based in Tel-Aviv, the capital of the Israeli electronic music, Roy Rosenfeld was born and raised in the magical streets of Jerusalem. In his youth, he was inspired by the clear air and powerful energy that were circling atop the city - the city where he found his first steps as a resident DJ at a local dance-bar. Now almost a decade later, not being tied down to one genre or label, the artist and producer has seamlessly found his signature style and tone that is recognized by the world’s top artists, producers, and labels.
Roy always had a passion for a wide spectrum of musical genres in which he had the ability to take apart and stem into new ideas of his own. As he started to play and produce, he developed a sophisticated range of sounds and techniques whether it’s showcased through a layer of dreamy, melodic house, progressive undertones, Balearic beats, micro-house or hypnotizing minimal/techno.
Among his many widespread releases, you will find several tracks imprinted on Lee Burridge’s label, All Day I Dream, as well as on Lost & Found by Guy J. ‘Epika’, which he produced with Guy Mantzur, is considered to be one of 2015’s greatest anthems and was released on the label Kompakt Records by Michael Mayer. Roy is also responsible for a number of underground hits for the legendary Systematic Recordings by Marc Romboy, such as ‘Ahava’ and ‘Tikkva’ (2017) and ‘Systematika’ (2016) also in collaboration with Mantzur.
With his numerous top hits on sales charts, after winning countless contests and awards, while collaborating with some of the most respected artists in the industry, Roy has gained massive recognition and support by the world’s largest superstars, such as: Solomun, Dixon, Black Coffee, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Laurent Garnier, Lee Burridge, Michael Mayer, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Stephan Bodzin, Marc Romboy, Joris Voorn and many others. The list continues on to Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Deadmau5 and Groove Armada.
