Poranguí - Roots Of Resonance - 3-Day Intensive

ROOTS OF RESONANCE A Music is Medicine 3-Day Intensive with Poranguí 20 to 22 November 2026 | 10:00 to 17:30 daily | TEJÁ, Cais do Sodré, Lisboa Three full days by the river with Poranguí: a deep immersion into voice, rhythm, movement and the healing power of collective music making. Following his concert ceremony in Lisbon on 14 November, Poranguí opens an intentionally intimate container at TEJÁ for those ready to go further. WHAT WE WILL DO Each day weaves together vocal practice, rhythm and body percussion, improvisational movement and Circlesongs, building from personal expression toward the collective voice. Participants are given opportunities to lead Circlesongs themselves and to build real leadership skills in collective music making. No musical experience is necessary, only the willingness to show up fully. WHO IT IS FOR Singers and non-singers, dancers, facilitators, voice and choir leaders, sound practitioners, music therapists, breathwork and ceremony holders, and anyone who wants to live inside music for three days. ABOUT PORANGUÍ Of Brazilian, Mexican and US roots, Poranguí trained in ethnomusicology at Duke University and brings over twenty-five years of international work as an artist, musician, healer and educator, using the healing properties of sound and movement.
