ABOUT STRANGE LANGUAGE
-----------------------------------
Strange Language (Sam) is a music producer and DJ from the small town of Lennox, South Dakota, where his lifelong connection to music began at just four years old. Focusing on 140, Strange language crafts experimental bass music that blurs genre boundaries and bends expectations. His sound is raw, atmospheric, and unpredictable.
Driven by a need to communicate what words cannot, he creates music that challenges the familiar and invites listeners into a world that lives between distortion, emotion, and controlled chaos. Whether behind the decks or deep in production, he continues to forge a distinct identity in the experimental bass scene.
Despite his small-town roots, Strange Language has carved a growing presence in the electronic scene, performing on the same stages as heavy-hitting artists including Lumasi, San Holo, Meso, Raaket, and more.
His live sets balance raw bass power with detailed, experimental soundscapes — offering an experience that’s as intriguing as it is high-energy. With new music on the horizon, Strange Language continues to push the boundaries of experimental bass while expanding his footprint in the electronic community.
