We’re back with CRUISING ON A DANCEFLOOR — PART II. Celebrating a part of queer culture that never disappeared — it simply evolved. Cruising has always been a core part of our culture: a way to connect, to find each other, to recognise desire in a glance. Over the years, it has transformed through highs, lows and technology. For the second time, and for our 29th party, we’re bringing cruising back to the dancefloor — this time inside KOMPLEX, a raw, industrial and very sexy warehouse. We’re celebrating what writer Leo Herrera calls “Analogue Cruising”: bodies sharing the same space, getting lost in the music, eyes meeting across the dancefloor, and chemistry arising. And if you remember our Cruising edition last year, you already know: no-photos, no videos, no-phones on the dancefloor... this one is going to be wild. Joining us for the first time and turning up the heat is Grishagreg, bringing the house grooves he’s been serving across parties throughout Lisbon. Our headliner Janky comes all the way from Chicago. A resident DJ at the city’s legendary bathhouse Steamworks, he has also played Feel It Party (London), Queen Butch (Atlanta) and Smartbar (Chicago). For his Lisbon debut at QM, expect infectious beats, filthy grooves and sexy basslines. QM resident AZM follows on the decks, keeping you sweating as night melts into day — while you cum again, and again, and again. And when you’re still not ready to stop, Sheri Vari, one of Lisboa’s underground queens, and newcomer Alex Just For Fans take over our afterhours dancefloor, making it steamier and steamier. Our trusted band of bewitching queens is back: Tandy 3000, Olivia Puntz, Ashekeroza, and for the first time at QM, Stefani Duvet. IN TEMPTATION — Cruising on a Dancefloor, Part II is freedom to be. It’s getting lost in the music. It’s sexual expression. It’s being entranced by desire. It’s strangers connecting in motion. It’s “safety in numbers.” We begin Saturday, September 19, at KOMPLEX (Praceta Domingos Rodrigues 5, Prior Velho), 22:00–10:00 EN: NO-PHONES PARTY Keep your eyes up, your body moving and your attention on what’s happening around you. - No phones on the dancefloor. - All phone cameras must be covered with the stickers provided at the entrance. - Anyone taking photos or videos with their phone will be asked to leave. - Only our hired photographer is allowed to discreetly capture artistic photos and videos, always respecting the privacy, freedom and intimacy of the dancefloor.
