Química Presents Special-Q #4

Special-Q is a vehicle of dance music exploration that's landing on Arroz Estúdios next Friday, July 22nd. A night represented by different DJ's from different collectives and backgrounds - a glimpse into the Lisbon scene with highlights on what's new and exciting about it. The debut of resident DJ Canhão at Arroz Estúdios will take place in this Special-Q. Aiming for the best basslines and a 'summer vibe', Canhão fiddles with UK Garage, House and Breaks as his main weapons. Bertrand, aka Menino da Mãe, aka DJ Foguinho, is a regular of the Lisbon scene. As a DJ he aims for a scenario of communion through dancing and euphoria, channeled by R&B, Reggaeton, Baile Funk, Ghetto House and other types of sonic bangers. João Melgueira returns once more with his arsenal of energizing tracks. The all-time resident knows how to glue a night perfectly together - we've seen him playing Techno and Acid, throwing in some Maximal tracks in the middle and ending the night with Elis Regina. But we've also seen him doing amazing old school Trance sets, or continuous hours of pounding Electro. It will all depend on his mood and analysis of the audience and how the night goes. Teresa Vieira (aka Soft) is a journalist, podcaster, movie critic and also a DJ. A regular in our parties, Soft's set will be nothing like her nickname - expect banging Techno, Electro and Acid as her soundtrack.
