Silas Giron l Fusion Night • WEDNESDAY 06/07 • 7pm - 11pm Silas Giron's music is characterised by a dialogue with multiple musical references from around the world. Having performed in the major Brazilian urban centres with great artists, it is clear the powerful influence of percussion from Bahia in the way he approaches the guitar, as well as the influence of musicians like Gilberto Gil, Bob Marley and Caetano Veloso. Such multiplicity converges in a percussive, melodic, Afro-Brazilian and universal synthesis.
