It’s a project created by Cani and Jenouise, and despite the name, they’re not crawling around Miami—they’re shining from Mexico. The duo has become one of the most prominent acts in Mexico’s vibrant electronic scene over the past decade. Their sound can be described as a blend of rhythmic, synth-driven house and techno, with touches of disco and Balearic, all tied together by a sweet Italo-style drama.
After releasing highly acclaimed EPs and tracks on various labels such as Running Back (by Gerd Janson), Correspondant (by Jennifer Cardini), and Internasjonal (by Prins Thomas), they released their debut album “2712” on Permanent Vacation.
They regularly perform at some of the world’s top clubs, including Berghain / Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Nitsa, Lux Fragil, Good Room, and Vent, as well as festivals like Sonar, Fusion, Burning Man, Garbicz, and Mutek, among many others.
They have also founded their own label, Creatures of the Night. In addition to Zombies in Miami, they have another project influenced by techno and live experimental music called Planet ZIM.
