TECHNOIDS PRESENTS RAPID PROJECTION Technoids returns with another All-Female Lineup on Saturday, June 5th. Technoids will be hosting a double headline feature with Krista Bourgeois and Tollefson. M31 Records co-founder, Emiliana, and Technoids Resident, West, will be joining our two headliners on this lineup. Krista Bourgeois, hailing from Portland, OR, is a techno powerhouse that quickly found her sound in both DJing and production. No stranger to the heavier side of techno, Krista finds solace bringing the dance floor to an intense and fervent state and translates that passion into her productions. Inspired by acid driven basslines, harsh industrial atmospheres, and the raw power of hard techno, Krista's DJ sets are an equally aggressive yet cathartic experience. Krista's performance will be accompanied by visual graphics, orchestrated by her fiance, Steven Nance. Tollefson cut her teeth as a DJ in the local Seattle scene for several years before making her way down the West Coast to LA in 2020. Those who have experienced her performances can attest to her versatility as a DJ. Tollefson is able to curate sets that range from deep, hypnotic techno openers to peak-time ravey techno performances. West is known for her very unique and eclectic style of high-energy track selections that are laden with rounded-bass grooves, dreamy transient atmospheres and very ebulient and zany melodies. This very one-of-a-kind, French Tekno-Inspired sound, is something that she has recently begun to classify as "Dreamcore". In a scene saturated with "dark" techno genres, West is penetrating and making waves with her effervescent, jaunty and of course, dreamy stylings. West is one of the few LA-based, Female East Asian techno artists that is taking the scene by storm, as well as being a key influencer in the diversification of Hard Techno genres. Emiliana is a music producer and DJ based in the Los Angeles area. Her sound design and execution of techno resides heavily in hardcore influences. Recently, she has experimented with the genre, producing tracks that are clean and contemporary and acting anomalously against the harsher tones of traditional, hard techno. Her sets bring powerful drums that harmonize with high static tones, making any dance floor an ethereal experience.
