Tommaso @ LOSO w/ Tommy2600 Saturday, August 15 DJ Sets: 9p - 2a 2727 W. Broad St 21+ Tommaso is a Chicago-based vinyl selector, record digger, and DJ, originally from Florence, Italy. Rooted in the birthplace of house music, his passion began with his parents’ collection of vintage Italian 45s and grew into an expansive archive of global rarities spanning eras and genres. Now a fixture in Chicago’s underground music scene, Tommaso has been embraced by many of the city’s house music pioneers, bridging the gap between generations and introducing their legacy to a new wave of listeners. Mentored by Peter Croce of Rocksteady Disco, Tommaso has honed his craft alongside the city's most influential DJs, blending his deep respect for Chicago's history with a forward-thinking approach. Known for his extended sets, he seamlessly connects rare and forgotten gems with cutting-edge tracks, creating genre-blurring, immersive journeys on the dance floor. Over the years, he has shared the stage with legends such as Danilo Plessow (MCDE), Tony Humphries, Marcellus Pittman, Rahaan, Terry Hunter, Karizma, Glenn Underground, The Blessed Madonna, Waajeed, Mike Dunn, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Gene Hunt, Steve “Silk” Hurley, Ron Carroll, DJ Heather, and many more. These experiences have solidified his reputation as a DJ who uncovers hidden connections between records while respecting the soul of Chicago’s dance music heritage. Tommaso is also the co-founder of Elevator Music, an initiative born from his vision to create opportunities for artists and push the boundaries of the dance music scene. Through this project, he continues to foster connections between communities and elevate emerging talent. When he’s not spinning records in his adopted home city, Tommaso regularly tours across the U.S. and Europe, bringing his distinctive sound to dance floors worldwide. With a deep reverence for the roots of house music and a dedication to innovation, he captivates audiences while staying grounded in the traditions of the city he now calls home. ——— LOSO Safe Space Policy ——— LOSO is a place for music lovers and dancers to come and express themselves freely.
