Description
Tropic of Keys is 1 year old and you are invited to our birthday bash at la Vilette’s A la Folie ! November 27, 2026. Right on time to dance off the Thanksgiving. Festivites start at 11pm sharp with a first time back to back between Paris’s after party princess Samantha Fex and ToK’s founder Ceyda Yagiz. These two will warm the floor up and welcome a true queen during their set. Obviously no other than Alice Psycho, who made her way through the chicest cabaret dinners in Paris, and years on the activist scene where drag becomes a political weapon, she’s maintained her commitment to putting on a show and her aversion to lukewarm consensus. This femme fatale is mixing up a dangerous cocktail of glamour, drama, and a healthy dose of satire that doesn’t ask for permission. Bring your tissues for laughter, and sometimes for other reasons. When things get heated, DJ City will be there to sweep our feet off. Humble icon of our era, often referencing early house music, he sets out to curate sets that are equally obscure and sweet. His own music has been released by Public Possession, Permanent Vacation, Uncanny Valley and many other labels. He runs his own night in Berlin called Bad Dad and frequently plays most dark corners of Europe. Needless to say we are in awe of his talent and very grateful to have him with us on the 27th of November. As its our birthday and we refuse to land, we will leave ourselves in the hands of Jonas, who has developed his craft within the free party scene, working with several collectives before helping to found the World Pleutre Family, a sound system that remains active today. He gradually made a name for himself in Parisian clubs, first as a resident DJ for FAWA, and more recently as a founding member of the association Le Love Paris. His sets, played entirely on vinyl, offer a wide musical spectrum while keeping the dance floor as the common thread. Graphics and Titles by the dearest Ece Öney Collage by yours truly. Love, ToK
