Every last Thursday of the month, let's get together with our residents Meaux, Medley, and Energy No. 13 (aka Mike Griffin) ECU and Propaganda join forces for a series of live performances. This month we present LAMEBOT, an electronic music producer and DJ hailing from Miami, Florida, whose unique sound is reshaping the landscape of bass music. Blending heavy, buttery bass lines with odd drum sounds and shimmery synths, his style incorporates elements of Future Bass, Jersey Club, and even nods to The Legend of Zelda. Born in Canada and raised in New York, LAMEBOT's relocation to Miami during his formative years significantly influenced his musical direction. The city's vibrant culture, Miami bass, and Latin rhythms infuse his work, creating a distinctive sound that the Miami New Times has described as "redefining a Made-in-Miami Genre.
