Unseen X Kyma

​Join us on Friday, August 14th, when KYMA and UNSEEN come together for a joint showcase at Myra x Barracuda in Costa da Caparica. ​Moving away from the city and setting up where the south coast of Portugal begins, this collaboration bridges UNSEEN’s raw energy with KYMA’s focus on hypnotic sound and textured rhythms. The music will span from the late afternoon sun straight into the night, inviting for a perfect end of day by the sea. ​The musical curation brings up the shared vision of both collectives. UNSEEN resident Vélez draws from experimental electronics and sound art while KYMA’s signature sound will anchor the floor with a steady, heavy groove driven by mental lines and deep percussions in a B2B between KYMA's residents, FRNZ and Cín. ​Extending to dear guests of both collectives, Septimal C will be channeling her Bristol underground background through a fluid mix of dub, techno, and breakbeat, completed by Enkō, who will share the booth with a special guest and navigate the space between hypnotic techno and abstraction, steering the dancefloor through dense and unpredictable paths.
