Yea... the doof! (18+) Parasols & Fans Edition One night of music, dancing and art. Local Dj's, an epic dance floor, unreal location, exceptional sound with exceptional people. Theme, Parasols & Fans edition - bring your Fans(any kind) and Parasols(umbrellas, also any kind) to this mini festival as the summer vibes set in the valley. We are curating a special evening > to night > to early morning event that brings the people together with a few surprises. It's time to bring back the doof in Golden and the valley, a collective space of music lovers and vibe enthusiasts willing to stake it all on one night, July 5th(Saturday). This isn't another club show, we are putting it all on black, dusting off the largest bass bins we can find, searching for the slickest and classiest tunes available, wearing our best underwear, building stuff to burn later, calling in all favours available and doing it all for a decent high five and a boog(dance) we won't forget. It may also be some peoples birthday so there will be cake involved. YEA...THE DOOF! The set up: -"Parsonia" a place to never grow old, a place to dream, a place to come together. All action will take place in Parsonia a hidden land that is private and safe(18+)! *Thomas Rd, Parson(Private residence). -Camping will be available at Camp Moss a 10 minute walk from "Parsonia", so you can sleep if you really want to, it'll be somewhat quiet and flat to tent/car/rv/trailer. Who: This is an open invitation to people who are open, responsible, willing to bring their "A" game and enjoy the ride. There is no ticket but there is a registration with a recommended contribution for your slot on the dance floor! Recommended contribution range is $30-$50 Per person to help cover costs like Toilets, sound/light, camping/cleaning, energy costs, art/artists and of course trump tariffs. Please register as there will be limit availability. This event is not for profit. When: July 5th - Music will start as the sun descending form the sky 5PM to 5:30am sun rise. location Parson B.C(25 mins drive south from Golden -Columbia Valley) What to bring: Best outfits, Best parasol, best fan/s, best attitude, water, food/snacks, camping/sleeping equipment, personal lights(important), anything you need to send it for one night responsibly > most importantly your ENERGY! *Possibly a small cart/cooler to bring your drinks from one spot to another would be uber helpful. What NOT to bring: dogs and pets(sorry no bueno), your Ex(unless your still figuring out the details and its mutual), fire, weapons, explosives and things of the like. We have a common sense approach! What's available & to expect: First off Music - a full local line up(of legends) with the exceptional of some foreigners(also legends). You can expect longer sets to allow the art to form in its natural habitat. From House to techno, dnb, vocalists and other sub genres that are hard to explain. Public Toilets(Camp Moss & Parsonia), Water(at Parsonia), Music & Sound System, Chill out areas, collective dance floor, Viewing areas, empty bar and other things you won't believe are real.
