Turnover Thursday, June 18th 2026 All Ages | Zaku Stage Turnover’s album Myself in the Way reflects a period of personal growth and creative reinvention shaped by lockdown. Frontman Austin Getz channeled a renewed perspective on life and love, while each band member explored new passions—from visual art and nature to improvisational music and songwriting. These individual experiences informed a more intentional, collaborative approach to the record.
 Recorded with longtime collaborator Will Yip, the album marks Getz’s first credit as co-producer and showcases a refined sonic vision inspired by classic records from Chic, Quincy Jones, and Pink Floyd. Blending tighter arrangements with expansive stereo design, Turnover pushes their sound into new territory.
 Remaining deeply DIY, the band continues to evolve—crafting not only their music but also visuals—while staying true to their ever-changing artistic identity.
