Description
Remote Viewing and Lost Explorer Mezcal present: esp solstice fest Remote Viewing is back with another 4-point Klipschorn hi-fi dancefloor experience. This time around we will be taking advantage of the extended hours of daylight to celebrate the start of summer and all things ethereal, deep and groovy. There will be drinks by the esp team including Japanese whiskey and sake tasting, an outdoor lounge activated by the good people at Invisible City featuring a non-alcoholic elixir bar as well as some tasty treats from trusted food vendors. The ticket includes admission to an afterparty from 11-2am down the street at invislble city with Woolfy. Following the outdoor event we will be moving the tunes inside for a special listening set from Toshiya at esp as well as welcoming back Woolfy from Ojai, California for a nightcap of balearic, house and disco a block over at Invisible City. Kuniyuki Takahashi Words won’t do him justice so we’ll keep it brief – having released ambient, future-jazz, techno and left-field house since the mid 80s we are honored to have Mule Musiq mainstay Kuniyuki for a rare, one-of-a-kind live set. Trust us on this one – this is not to be missed. Toshiya Kawasaki We welcome back the Mule Musiq boss for round two here in Denver. Last time around he had the dance floor mesmerized for his Denver debut at the inaugural Remote Viewing event last year. Mule Musiq knows no bounds and who better to represent the dynamic sound of the label than Toshiya himself. The founder of the inimitable hi-fi bar Studio Mule in Tokyo will be taking the reins at the esp bar after the event. This is as close to a Tokyo hi-fi bar experience as one will get this far west. Woolfy With releases on DFA, Permanent Vacation, and his recently launched Ritual Release label, Woolfy has deep creates and an even deeper knowledge of how to keep a dance floor psychedelic. Deep disco, beautiful balearic and heartfelt house are just a few alliterative ways at attempting to describe a sound that is unbound by genre. Fancy Matthew Denver darling and co-founder of the ten year running all vinyl dance party Weird Touch, Fancy Matthew will be on opening duties bringing his honed-in and distinct sound that has roots in indie, psych, shoe-gaze, wave, rock n roll, disco and all things dark and groovy. Couldn’t think of a better person to set the tone for the day. Nico Tobón As the founder of the party series con amor and Peer Review, resident of esp as well as being a member of the all vinyl dance party Weird Touch, Nico has been a steward in Denver’s underground dance music scene for over seven years. He’s also had a hand in running the remote viewing soundsystem and knows exactly what kind of records will make the system sing for this special day time event.
