Freakquency Events DC

FREAKQUENCY isn’t just an event; it’s a movement born from a deep passion for electronic music and a commitment to inclusivity. Curated by the visionary minds of William Pannell (aka DJ Onyx, a celebrated local DJ and artist) and Terry Thompson Jr., Freakquency is an electrifying journey into the heart of the District’s vibrant LGBT scene.
Fueled by their love for the circuit scene and its transformative power on gay culture, Pannell and Thompson recognized the need for a fresh, accessible experience tailored to an underserved audience. With its August 2022 debut, Freakquency instantly captivated attendees, garnered glowing reviews, and ignited a loyal following. The momentum has only intensified from there, with each subsequent event surpassing expectations.
