MiDi Kultur was born from a simple observation: electronic music today is far too often reduced to the DJ format, especially when it comes to electronic events. Yet there are countless ways to perform electronic music on stage.
Without taking anything away from our DJ friends, we want to bring live performance back into the spotlight, because it is more raw, more personal, more original. Because it encourages artists to play their own works and to bring real added value to electronic music.
MiDi Kultur is not just an event organizer. It is also a community of artists and fans. We believe that together we can place live music back at the heart of the electronic scene and give live performers the recognition they deserve.
