Miamibloco

MIAMIBLOCO — SAMBA, PERO LIKE, MIAMI.
Miami doesn't need another audience. It needs more people making culture.
Since 2017, Miamibloco has been bringing the spirit of Rio's street blocos and samba schools into the 305: with big drums, live music, cultural exchange, and a community that makes the sound together.

Part music school, part street party, full social movement. We're a homegrown 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating access to Afro-Brazilian percussion, intergenerational music education, and the kind of IRL connection you can't stream.

From first-time drummers to professional musicians, kids to elders, spectators to full-on participants; there's room in the bateria.
Our flagship ensemble, Bateria Saideira, is currently the largest performing community samba-enredo groups in the United States ans proudly 305!

COME FOR THE MUSIC. GET INTO THE MOVEMENT.
Every ticket, every drum, every donation helps keep instruments in people's hands, artists working, education accessible, and Miami's culture growing on its own terms.
Every Show. Every Ticket. It's a culture we're building together.
Good friends samba together. Somos Miami, bro.
