August 12th on the Dr.Bernard Caparica dance floor (@dr.bernard.caparica) 1/4 Club presents the djs 𝑀𝒶𝓇𝓀 𝒢𝒾𝓁𝓁 (Fandango Berlin), 𝓒𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓸 (Instrumental Violence Portugal) and our resident 𝐿𝓊𝒸𝒶𝓈 𝐵𝒾𝒸𝓊𝒹𝑜 (1/4 Club). 𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚! 🏖️ // 🌐 ʟɪɴᴇ ᴜᴘ ᴍᴀʀᴋ ɢɪʟʟ (ғᴀɴᴅᴀɴɢᴏ ʙᴇʀʟɪɴ) Born in Dublin, Based in Berlin. Mark Gill spent his formative party years roaming and creating dance floors across Ireland and Ibiza. But most recently co-curating Fandango and contributing sets, party’s and festivals in further away places like Berlin, Ukraine, Brazil and beyond. This exposure and appreciation of diverse scenes and sounds has shaped his own sets with foundations of dancefloor focused energy filled tracks. Typically house, breaks or percussive in nature. ᴄᴀᴛɪᴠᴏ (ɪɴsᴛʀᴜᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʟ ᴠɪᴏʟᴇɴᴄᴇ) Catxibi/Cativo is Luísa Cativo, and her colorful career includes being one of the founders of the legendary Thug Unicorn parties, which have revolutionized the nights of Porto and Lisbon since their inception in 2012. Before that, she was part of GRRRL RIOT also in Plano B, and currently also explores heavier musical veins and beautiful friendships with the Coimbra collective Instrumental Violence. Cativo also has a monthly show with Assafrão in Rádio Quântica, an online community radio that unites her passion for music and club culture with social activism, as well as the newly created Female:Pressure Portugal, which aims to open a dialogue about the lack of diversity in music and art in our country. ʟᴜᴄᴀs ʙɪᴄᴜᴅᴏ (1/4 ᴄʟᴜʙ ʀᴇsɪᴅᴇɴᴛ) Lucas Bicudo is a DJ, digger, and co-founder of 1/4 Club, a booking agency and party producer based in Lisbon. His mixes with a lot of references he keeps since his childhood in Brazil, with a combination of new findings and lost oldies among disco, house, funk, African and Brazilian rhythms and its subgenres. Lucas started his career in 2012 in Rio, where he used to play at the extinct iconic Club Cave. Since then, he has brought his selection to other places, such as São Paulo, Paris, London, Berlin, among others, playing alongside artists which have been inspirations for him, such as Ney Matogrosso, Anna Prior, L_cio, and many others. ✷ @umquartoclub
