A Seminar by Brian Thabault, live at Archivio Records This three hour intensive talk will cover aspects of performing live using Ableton Live software. In this presentation Brian Thabault will discuss his process and philosophy behind his live performance. Topics will cover gear and equipment, preparing music for live performance, live performance methods, set organization and practices central to his own set up. This is information discovered and developed over 5 years of performing his own original music live using Ableton. Brian will also cover the practice and philosophy behind his recurring monthly Co/Function event. This event features a rotating line up of live electronic artists participating in extended three hour jam sessions in a club environment. The seminar will conclude with a Q and A time and interactive time where participants can experiment with the live setup themselves, and a short live performance from the host.
