London's audiophile pioneers Spiritland continue their run of warehouse parties in 2024 with one of the UK's finest exports. Hot Chip frontman Alexis Taylor is one of the most intrepid DJs out there, with a sound that touches on techno, house, pop, futuristic R'n'B and leftfield electronica. Alexis Taylor is a singer, producer, musician and DJ with a long history of collaboration with London’s audiophile pioneers Spiritland. As the front man of legendary Hot Chip you might recognise Alexis from hit records ‘Over & Over’, ‘Ready For The Floor’ or from any number of their seminal indie-dance bangers - including their most recent album "Freakout/Release" (2022). The man himself has released several great albums as a solo artist. As a DJ, things get even tougher and funkier - Alexis plays a wide selection of his favourite music to move to from disco, boogie, electro-pop and house through to techno and forward-thinking electronica. Leaning towards vocal-led uplifting music, he always brings a party vibe. Alexis has DJ’ed internationally everywhere from Tokyo, Seoul, Bali, Athens, Helsinki, Paris, Brussels, Naples, Barcelona, New York to LA. This March we bring him to Lisbon to play at the new Higher Ground club. Support comes from Adam Purnell who served his musical apprenticeship in the clubs of Berlin.
