Amsterdam Techno Sessions w/ Traffk & Marco Ramos

Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event, held every Thursday, in Amsterdam. Every week, local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and personal definitions of Techno. This Thursday, 11th of July 2024, we are back to John Doe for our weekly Techno rendez vous. And for this one, we invited the Italian Techno trailblazer, Traffk to headline the night. Keen for music and sound design, Marco aka Traffk is an organic Electronic Musician made in Italy, and currently you can find him working daily in his cosy studio which is based in Rotterdam. His strong passion for electronic music started more than 14 years ago, when at a very young age he began DJing and throwing raves collaborating within several collectives. The consistent legal and illegal participation in the underground scene was crucial to the local community and effective for the growth and sonic vision, meeting the Artist's sources of inspiration and various genres, driving through hi-energy Techno crushed by locked grooves and broken beats. Marco brings a considerable wealth of experience and proven confidence behind the decks, thanks to his stable residencies in the clubs and venues that hosted Electrolab’s programming from 2012 to 2020, and Sparc from 2022 to date. His closing sets are well known and still etched in the memories of those present. Seeing is believing. 2019 - moves to the Netherlands, taking the studio across countries to pursue the electronic music path, diving into sound design studies and sharing the passion with fellow creatives.
