The party starts at 11pm, is free before midnight, and goes until late giving you ample time to dance and groove until your hearts content. We’re eager to have your contribution to the dance floor and will see you there. Shakolin, hailing from Berlin - is a highly respected artist who emerged from the Ukraine dance music scene in 2013. Joining in the Closer crew the community fed his desire to grow and evolve in all aspects of music and life. Founder of the Closer record store he gets to curate vinyl to share with fellow music lovers - fans and DJs alike. Playing all over the globe he graces his unique presence at Apollo studios for this magnificent party. Jorge, creator of Lets Doodle takes over the decks with an eclectic and well curated selection of vinyl. Sure to get you out of your mind and into your body. His love for groove laden basslines and spaced out rhythms gives you a glimpse into the mind behind the music. An absolute selector, this set will be sure to take you on a journey. Corrina is a vinyl DJ based in Brooklyn, NY - Half-Chinese, half-German, and a California native. She started collecting records just three years ago, the same time she moved to NYC. Once she got her hands on turntables, there was no turning back and she’s been hooked on playing vinyl ever since. Her selections reflect her versatility, musical evolution, and exploration of many genres... basically anything with a nice groove and an even nicer snare. Chilly & Gams - Eric Chinchilla (Chilly) & Austin Gambino (Gams) are the culmination of over a decade of friendship and international record digging. Dancefloor-oriented range, no frills and mindful flow across a spectrum of sounds on the deeper end of things. Their music selection is varied and international, featuring records picked up on their travels. Their style trends towards late 80s-90s house & techno, breaks, and when the time is right, some hip-hop and psychedelic downtempo. This set is certain to bring out your most eclectic dance moves. John Raffaele brings the dance floor to life. Keen is a steadfast pioneer in the dance music community of Philadelphia but his influence doesn’t stop there. Creator of subsurface a radically underground party a result of his commitment to making a name for himself while building community. Coming from a hip-hop background, there is an undertone of sass and ambiance fusing downtempo break, beats and house with minimal grooves, as well as taste of electro and electronica.
