Friday, April 28th, Fader Events Warehouse Series returns to The Factory St. Pete to invite Austrian techno wizard Arthur Robert, LA-based modular mastermind David Castellani (live) + Miami’s Elias Garcia for a night of deep, raw, sci-fi beats beats and hypnotic techno 👽 /////////////////////////////////// Arthur Robert (Figure/Planet X) Recording Artist orginally from Vienna, Austria and currently based since 2011 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Producing and composing music professionally since 2014. Arthur Robert was born in Vienna, Austria into a Romanian family. His earliest memories include hugging a giant speaker just to feel the bass. At age 16 Arthur taught himself to DJ drum and bass music with vinyl. It was clear electronic music would mark the rest of his life. In his early 20s Arthur moved to Amsterdam and soon became inspired by techno music. His first trip to Berlin’s Berghain sealed the deal and Arthur was determined to make electronic music for the rest of his life. Soon after Berlin he met his partner and together they built the music studio that Arthur calls his home most hours of the day. In the studio Arthur is continuously perfecting his live set and the tracks he publishes are recorded in one take. For the sake of this bio, Arthur was left with no choice but to state some key words that describe his sound. Here they are: live electronics, direct, puristic, groove based, Detroit inspired, jungle and breaks influenced. Sometimes Arthur strays away from making techno and enjoys forays into crafting a sound track for a film (to be released in late 2019 / early 2020), breaks, and electro. He also teaches sound design and music production because he finds teaching as invaluable as learning in his continued quest for excellence. Arthur Robert has performed internationally in Montreal, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam & Utrecht. He has shared the bill with some notable artists in the industry. David Castellani is a techno producer and modular synthesist with a main focus on peak-time, dance floor-driven energy. David’s sound, fueled by an array of analog hardware, showcases the intricate aspects of modern music production, while staying true to the fundamentals that inspire you to let loose on a dark warehouse floor. Italian-born Castellani moved to Chicago in his early years and began his musical journey as a percussion player focusing on jazz-fusion. After an extended focus on classical training, David began pursuing electronic music production which led to a catalogue of releases, collaborations, and remixes by respected artists like Superfreq boss, Mr.C. Now living in Los Angeles, Castellani launched his new record imprint, Noetic, which cultivates smart and dynamic techno music. With a heavy focus on modular synthesizers and analog hardware, both Castellani and Noetic feature a boundary-pushing feel, filled with hypnotic sound design, explosive lead lines, futuristic sound palettes, and driven rhythms. Outside of music, you can find David digging into the many facets of design as the co-owner of the art-driven fashion line, After Infinite, as well as, partial founder of the new modular synthesizer company, Anti-Kulture. With a quick rise early in the game, Elias began constructing musical production towards his eerie sci fi hypnotic sound producing on Decoder’s label ”Codec“ with his first debut EP title “Binary”. In 2022 he began Djing & playing live events together with the Roland TR 09 drum machine for III Points Festival & Club Space events in Miami, Florida. Later then, he released his first album on Subsist Records “Parallel” which had then later been played by DVS1, Samuli Kemppi, and Kr!z. Elias is the owner of Sci Fi Hypnotic Techno Label Sceptre Records, based out of Miami Florida, and is also a resident of Allan Gallego’s Future Arkive label.
