ANNEX presents: Be • You We welcome old and new friends for 48 hours of open-air exploration of art & sound. Pack your camping gear and share this moment with us 🖤 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Concept: We as humans constantly face life’s challenges, often distracting us from taking the time to reflect on our deepest thoughts, creating an environment where self-expression isn’t taken as a priority or viewed as important. When we’ve neglected our emotions and passions for so long, we lose the sense of what it means to be ourselves. We owe it to ourselves to form our own critical thoughts and ideas. We owe it to the world to contribute to the betterment of humanity. You owe it to yourself to be Be • You This idea among friends began as an escape from the modern world & its problems for a weekend to decompress and enjoy our passions. That original thought has since evolved into a community full of positive mentality, creative outlets for expression, and a burning love for who we each are at our core. While we live each day with these values in mind and spread our message with individual actions, Be • You gathers our community to celebrate what makes each member of our tribe special. We invite you to free your mind from the negativity floating in your thoughts. We encourage you to radically express through art, communication, feeling and experience. We welcome souls looking for a place to belong and contribute. All we ask is… Be • You ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *This is a camping event in Lakeland, FL - so please be prepared by bringing a tent, warm clothing, food, water and anything else you need for the weekend outdoors. There WILL be access to showers and restrooms on-site, there will NOT be access to electricity and grills for personal use so plan accordingly. *Remember to leave no trace and pick up after yourself, we will have trash bins around the campsite for throwing away waste. Please keep yourself and those around you accountable on respecting the campsite. *This is a safe space for like-minded individuals. Everyone with a mutual appreciation for music & visual arts is welcomed. Any form of judgment or harassment (incl. verbal and physical) towards other guests, artists, or staff will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
