This Valentine's Day, arrive at Stay Tuned for a truly sensual culinary experience - one of taste, smell, sight, sound, and touch, where each course provides an enrapturing culinary experience that engages each of the 5 senses.
Four courses of elevated vegan dishes will be prepared by Somebody People’s head chef, Justin Freeman. In 2022, Justin was named “Best New Chef” by Westword. Each course will include drink pairings by Somebody People proprietor and sommelier Sam Maher (offerings include the option of non-alcoholic beverages upon request).
Artisanal bread and dip. Roasted maitake mushrooms. Accented with brown butter hazelnuts, coriander & lime vinaigrette, and mustard frills.
Flower-shaped filled pasta with parsnip cream and herb oil.
Cauliflower steak, fresh lemon salsa verde, and crispy capers, with black-eyed peas, peri-peri, celery, and Spanish onion.
Chocolate tart, biscuit base, or shortbread, ganache top, with spiced salt.
Each course will feature a different live sound artist, respected for their ability to compose lush atmospheres using an array of synthesizers, guitars, drum machines, field recordings, and other lush instrumentation. This will subtly accentuate the room through our Void Acoustics hi-definition sound system.
The room will be wrapped in the subtle ambiance of projected visuals that are designed to accent, rather than overwhelm the dining experience.
In addition to the enrapturing scents of the dishes, we have unique olfactory experiences planned that will augment the flavors and experience of the night.
Dishes will focus as much on texture as it does flavor, with a couple of thoughtful surprises throughout the night.
