Crush Fund, Brooklyn based dance-punk band, is figuring it out as they go. On their debut album, GO, the band is restless in the face of everything they hold dear being ripped away by forces outside of their control. Despite it all, the self-destruction, the rejection, the violence, the only option left is to move forward. They make heavy, high-sprung grooves for you to mosh and cry to. The project was formed in 2022 by Wendy Kya and Nora Knox, college friends brought together by a shared love for noisy post-punk, DIY punk ethos, and feminine rage. They soon recruited July Brown and Sean Kovacs, released two EPs, Drama (2022) and New Fixation (2024), and developed a reputation for starting topless mosh pits full of trans women.
