DESCENDANTS is an international Afro & Culturally Inspired Electronic Music Events Platform based out of New York where people come together for Afro House & Afro Tech. We're excited to end the Summer at New York's newest innovative venue SILO, which is equipped with top tier sound, lighting and visual projections. Having shared the stage with the likes of Afro House legends such as Caiiro, Shimza, Citizen Deep & Boddhi Satva between New York & Amsterdam, he has created his mark as a premier Afro Electronic selector. DESCENDANTS resident Pizzi has found a way to seamlessly blend Afro Electronic sounds from Tech, House, GQOM, Batida & more and brings joy and dance into each set. As a life-long music producer & creator, he is sure to bring something new and special with each set. Niara has become an integral thread in the renaissance of music, community, style, and expression in New York. Originally from Virginia, Niara's roots have heavily influenced her developing sound - from an array of massive basslines, melodic patterns, and throbbing kicks summed up in a soulful pulse. In New York, she's occupied spaces like Brooklyn Mirage, Good Room, House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, and Public Records spinning subgenres of House and Soul music. Descendants welcomes all to an expressive environment free of judgement. NO forms of harassment or discrimination will be tolerated. Expressive, colorful dress is favored but not required.
