A new record label and production venture from two co-founders of DISTRIKT 501c3 nonprofit (known for their epic parties at Burning Man) & newly adopted nephew. With today’s model of music streaming and inexpensive downloads, artists rarely receive equitable financial return for their original work. DISTRIKT Sound aims to create an artist compensation model that pays artists a fair share of profits, as well as supporting the careers of the musicians and producers who work hard to create the music we all love.
