From raves to parties. From the radio to the dance floor. From production to DJing. Here is someone who has traveled many paths, who was present at the time of the creation of a “dance culture” in the early 90s.
He played a decisive role in establishing house music in Portugal and made his music known beyond the country's borders: DJ Vibe, real name António Pereira.
But what is truly extraordinary is that he has never deviated: music made for dancing - or danced to think? has guided him throughout an internationally acclaimed career. A pioneer of the Portuguese electro scene and one of Portugal's best-known DJs, DJ Vibe has also helped launch some of the most important clubs in the country, and abroad.
In 2020, Dj Vibe created his alter ego “ANTOS”. A new approach with a new universe, a new rhythm of Indie, Deep Dance, Psychedelic style. This new project begins with a first EP “Salve” on Do Not Sit On the Furniture (Dj Behrouz Label).
After more than four decades of dominating the dance floors of clubs and festivals, what's left to do? Embark on a new adventure with the same curiosity and excitement. In 2024, he launched on a new challenge, that of making his debut in his own name with a record of originals. The result is “Frequências”, DJ Vibe's first album under his own name.
