Rinzen combines cinematic sound design with forward-thinking house and techno production to create something that is downright awe-inspiring. Rinzen is an electronic artist from Los Angeles seeking to build entire worlds with his music. Dedicated to the pursuit of wonder, Rinzen combines cinematic sound design with forward-thinking techno production to create something that is downright awe-inspiring. Rinzen began in January of 2017. In the time since, he’s become a rising figure in the global electronic scene, with a slew of releases on deadmau5’s iconic mau5trap imprint. Meanwhile, his otherworldly club tracks have found their home on many of Europe’s most sought-after underground labels: everyone from Berlin’s Steyoyoke to London’s Chapter 24 Records. Rinzen is perhaps best known for his concept EPs: a variety of innovative releases which find the producer crafting immersive, narrative-based worlds. His EPs have lauded by everyone from Mixmag to Billboard, with the latter hailing his debut concept EP, Forbidden City, as “a sonic exploration of human depth.” As a performer, Rinzen looks to curate a cinematic journey with every set. His otherworldly approach to DJing has thus far taken him to many of the world’s most coveted stages: everywhere from London’s legendary Printworks to Fabrik in Madrid. In 2019, Rinzen has been hand-selected by Mixmag to be part of Magnified series: a new initiative highlighting up-and-coming electronic artists around the world. With recent debut performances at Ultra Music Festival, EDC, and Desert Hearts, Rinzen’s otherworldly vision for his music is only just beginning to unfold. Desert Hearts Black. Lost Dimension Mix Series Known for his curation of dark, twisted and high energy journeys, Evan Casey, now a Los Angeles resident, has been an exciting part of the west coast festival and underground club scene. A long time member and resident DJ of the fast rising Desert Hearts family, he has played a major role in bringing the darker sounds to clubs and festivals. With influences ranging from techno to progressive to minimal, he has developed a sound leaving dance floors with heavy, lasting emotion. For him, it is all about the experience shared, the impact of sounds taking us on spacial journeys, and getting completely lost even if just temporarily in the music. His constant digging and unveiling of cutting edge tracks reflect his evolving taste and desire to share the things that push his own life experience. Both as a selector and as a fan, the late night is a special time for Evan, and any who see him will agree, it is when his musical statements have the greatest impact on a dance floor. In beautiful contrast to his dark, heavy sounds, he constantly connects to everyone in the community with love, positive energy and smiles. Not only is the musical experience something special, but his character is truly felt full circle when you get time with Evan, always ready with a hug. Known for his presence in black when behind the decks, it is never long before we see a massive smile on his face as he delivers an intense ride of sound for everyone to jump onto. There is a massive amount of momentum behind him at the moment, after big performances at large scale festivals, lots of time in studio curating his mix series and writing future releases, and just his overall loving, positive nature that is contagious to be around. There is a lot to be excited about in regards to his future; so head into the Lost Dimension and enjoy the trip as he expands on his vision of connecting through the experience of sonic depth and darkness. What is Dharma? The term Dharma is derived from the Sanskrit root verb dhr, which means to preserve or support. It is simultaneously the eternal order that rules the universe and the duty or law that governs one’s life. Fulfilling one’s dharma is more than simply one’s purpose in life - it include ethics, duty, cosmic order. Music is Dharma for S.I.D. Having been involved in music since childhood, Sid was classically trained in the piano and violin. 2008 began his love for electronic music from inspirations such as Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, and Carl Cox. 2015 saw the start of his DJ career and shortly after he found his true calling and passion with music production. His ambition remains on perfecting his sound and diving deeper into the industry as an artist. Focusing on Progressive, House, and Techno, S.I.D is a rising talent in the underground community and entered 2021 strong with his EP “Cloudwalker” reaching #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House Top 100 Releases. Garnering support from many, including Marco Carola, Miss Monique, Paul Thomas, and Charles D, his unique style of melodic elements, hard hitting grooves, and an emotion provoking journey is one you surely do not want to miss! Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/soundsindharma IG: https://www.instagram.com/sounds.in.dharma/ //Austin Pettit// The son of a blues guitarist, Austin was introduced to the drums at a young age, with influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Allman Brothers laying the initial foundation for his music. First exposed to electronic music in his teenage years, Austin’s focus eventually shifted from playing drums to producing his own music. After a decade of learning and developing his sound, Austin has signed with a number of labels including Freegrant Music and Intricate Records, having found his niche in the darker side of progressive house. He has established a mix series in his Nightride podcast, a forum to share unreleased work and his favorite tracks of the moment, and recently launched his own label of the same name. Having garnered support from Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Cristoph, Grum, Paul Thomas and more, Austin continues to emerge as an artist in the underground progressive scene. He looks to make his return to the Fader stage with a special b2b set with S.I.D!
